From Alan Bahr of Gallant Knight Games

“Ever since Jim reached out to me, we’ve engaged and chatted, and I was immediately sold on the concepts and themes Jim was presenting. A final playtest locked me in and I was hooked. This is a delightful game, one that has deeper stories to tell than a reader might expect, and it’s beautifully suited for families, gaming clubs, school and library programs, as well as traditional gaming groups.”

From Jim Davies

“I’m very proud to be working with this company, which produces high-quality products, in terms of game design and production,” Davies says, “I feel that I’m in very good hands. Working with Alan has been a pleasure.”

He describes his first encounter with the Tiny D6 system as a breath of fresh air. “After reading Tiny Dungeon, I felt like my mind had expanded. It opened up possibilities that I hadn’t imagined before. It has influenced all of my game design decisions since.”

ABOUT THINGS THAT GO SQUEAK IN THE NIGHT

Things that Go Squeak in the Night is a tabletop role-playing game where players get to play heroic mice who save human children from supernatural threats like little demons and faeries. It happens in a version of our modern world that has dark, hidden magic and anthropomorphic animals. Stories in this game feel a bit like a cross between The Rescuers and Ghostbusters. The rules are non-deadly and narrative-focused, encouraging bold heroism in a charming urban fantasy setting.

Would you enjoy describing how an elite mouse would take down a possessed cat using nothing but dental floss? That’s the kind of thing you get to do in this game.

Things that Go Squeak in the Night will come to Kickstarter next year, in 2021!
